From Friday 31 October, the Miam! collective, which brings together citizens and local players keen to promote local, sustainable, high-quality food for all, is organising new screenings followed by discussions as part of this not-to-be-missed festival on sustainable and solidarity-based food.
With a fine selection of documentary films, the Alimenterre festival invites the general public to find out more and gain a better understanding of agricultural and food issues in France and around the world.
This year, no fewer than 6 documentary film screenings, followed by discussions in the presence of local players in the sustainable food sector (market garden producers, associations, researchers, etc.), are being organised between 31 October and 21 November in 6 different locations and 6 different communes in the CUCM (Le Creusot, Montceau-les-Mines, Montcenis, Torcy, Sanvignes and Saint-Berain-sous-Sanvignes).
Two short films, Oranges amères & Les semences de la dignité, will be screened on Sunday 16 November at 2.30pm at the Syndicat des Mineurs in Montceau-les-Mines. The public will be able to find out more and talk to local players.
