The tour highlights the history of the Château de la Verrerie, built under the Ancien Régime for crystal production, and the role of the Schneiders, the forge masters, in the development of the industrial and urban fabric of the town of Le Creusot.     Come and discover or rediscover the museum's permanent collections! Paintings and models also immerse visitors in the world of work. There's also a temporary exhibition entitled "P. Leygonie, peintre, figuratif hors normes" (P. Leygonie, painter, figurative out of the ordinary), which retraces the artist's various creative periods.

    Please note: there will be no tours of the small theatre and the underground galleries.

    Sunday from 10am to 6.30pm: 50 years of the Creusot Montceau Ecomuseum!
    Shows, concerts, birthday cake, piñata for children, time capsule, speeches by the ecomuseum's great witnesses, projections, etc. A joyful family atmosphere for a real birthday party!
