Projection-débat : L'usine secrète, un film documentaire d'Emmanuel Graff

To mark Documentary Film Month, the Creusot Montceau Ecomuseum invites you to discover "L'Usine secrète" (The Secret Factory) by Emmanuel Graff. The screening will be attended by the director and will be followed by a discussion.

We know the world of industry and mining mainly for its difficult aspects and its struggles. Less is known about the intimate aspects, the workers' autonomy, the freedoms they were allowed, the life of the teams. "L'Usine secrète" takes us on a journey through the world of steelmaking and iron ore mining in Lorraine and Luxembourg, from the 1970s to the present day, to show the convivial, independent and even resistant aspects, through mowing, tinkering, factory meals, parties, humour, solidarity and exchanges. This documentary then looks at these aspects in the 21st century: what has become of these old freedoms?
