Art'GentiK highlights two creative and artistic dimensions inherent to Chalon-sur-Saône, Mehdi Diouri's home town: photography and dance. Here he examines the object, the camera, but also the art of photography. In the age of digital technology, which has made photography a commonplace, everyday activity, everyone has become both photographer and photographed. These roles are reversed, alternated and merged, in the same way that spontaneity, naturalness and staging follow one another. This creation hums to us of an encounter, that of its performers. It questions the capacity to transform and be transformed by contact with images.
