Because she suffocated in the middle of the night and thought she was going to die, a woman and the man who shares her life launch into the story of their relationship.

The trip to the emergency room, the return home, becoming parents, the fear of grey hair and then this life that is passing madly by: this is what this woman and this man tell us simultaneously, but not univocally, since their two versions - and this is what is troubling - differ quite significantly. As a result, Chœur des amants is a bit like Un homme et une femme, but without the beach at Deauville or the Ford Mustang: the sinuous journey, with the chiselled and delicate words of Tiago Rodrigues, the author and director of this lovely play, of a singular and universal love, performed in the simplest of costumes - which doesn't mean that the actors are naked, but that their voices and bodies are enough to bring the lyrical power of this two-headed chronicle to its incandescence and to make their little beating choir heard...
