Concert de violon solo

On Sunday 10 August at 5pm, in the church of Mont-Saint-Vincent, violinist Pierre Roland will perform works by Heinrich Biber, Johann Sebastian Bach and Ysaÿe.

Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, born on 12 August 1644 in Wartenberg and died on 3 May 1704 in Salzburg, was an Austro-Czech baroque violinist and composer.

Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer and musician who was born on 21 March 1685 in Eisenach, in the duchy of Saxe-Eisenach, and died on 28 July 1750 in Leipzig.

Eugène Auguste Ysaÿe, born on 16 July 1858 in Liège and died on 12 May 1931 in Forest, was a Belgian violinist, composer, concert organiser, teacher and conductor.
