Conférence : Les Arts de la table dans la bourgeoisie du XIXe siècle

Lecture: Tableware in the 19th-century bourgeoisie.

The Creusot-Montceau Ecomuseum invites you to a lecture by Jacqueline Queneau on the theme of "La table des Schneider" ("The Schneider table"), entitled "Les arts de la table dans la bourgeoisie du XIXe siècle" ("The tableware of the 19th-century bourgeoisie"). Jacqueline Queneau is the author of "La grande histoire des Arts de la table", and is a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales at the University of Paris VIII. She regularly gives lectures on the French art of entertaining, from the Middle Ages to the 1950s.
