Self-guided tour of the museum
Come and discover or rediscover the museum's permanent collections! The tour highlights the history of the Château de la Verrerie, built under the Ancien Régime for crystal production, and the role of the Schneiders, the forge masters, in the development of the industrial and urban fabric of the town of Le Creusot. Paintings and models also immerse visitors in the world of work. There's also an exhibition entitled "Hands at Work", featuring safety posters by Bernard Chadebec.
Mediators will be on hand to talk and guide you through the exhibition.

They would possess infinite, self-sustaining knowledge that they would share with humans, those strange Others of whom they are curious...
So they head for museums and heritage sites, with the aim of becoming guides instead of guides. Emeritus guides, please! Eminent specialists in all subjects, especially those presented here.
Our two clowns manage to steal the title of guide-lecturer!
And now they're there, in front of an audience eager to learn, ready to teach them everything they don't know.
