  • The SHNC is offering a third outing, open to all, around the Sain-Sernin pond.
    The idea of building a dam at Saint-Sernin dates back to 1891, when there was a small pond whose bottom was deepened and the dam renovated.
    This site is a ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Écologique Faunistique et Floristique), i.e. an area where scientists have identified rare, protected or threatened elements of the natural heritage.
