Le Creusot is the birthplace of Christian Bobin (1951-2022) and also the place that inspired him.
From his working-class childhood to his poetic wanderings, the town shaped Bobin's outlook and influenced his work. Thanks to an original scheme combining visual installations and digital accompaniment, residents and visitors can discover the emblematic places that marked his life and his writing, including the Château de la Verrerie, Boulevard Schneider and the media library that now bears his name.
The tour invites visitors to walk in the footsteps of the poet, listen to and read his words, and see Le Creusot in a different light. Under his pen, Le Creusot became "the most beautiful city in the world".

At the crossroads of literature, heritage and tourism, this initiative will appeal to the curious, to Bobin enthusiasts and to lovers of cultural walks.
