Au gré d'un quatre-heures

The exhibition “Au gré d’un quatre-heures” showcases the work created during artist and designer Harmonie Begon’s residency at the Villa Perrusson.
Between December 2025 and April 2026, Harmonie Begon is developing a project centred on the ceramic heritage of the Creusot Montceau Urban Community and the Vallée de la Céramique. Using stoneware objects unearthed from the site of the former Langeron factory — pots and containers mass-produced and long left in storage — she questions their status and envisions bringing them back to life through an afternoon tea at Villa Perrusson: a moment when these pieces regain their purpose, presence and connection to the acts of use.
Around this table, she brings together objects she has gathered or created and unites local stakeholders. Echoing the Villa Perrusson’s botanical décor and inspired by the Arts & Crafts movement, she develops an ornamental body of work that engages in dialogue with the understated nature of industrial stoneware. The project thus forges a link between heritage, contemporary creation and conviviality, transforming the table into a space for remembrance and gathering.
