Bertrand Belin

Bertrand Belin is a French singer-songwriter whose work straddles the worlds of poetic chanson, minimalist rock and literature. He has been seen in recent months at the cinema and in the theatre, and his latest novel, *La Figure*, has been widely read. Seeing him and reading his work is all well and good; but hearing him sing is just as captivating. He is back with an eighth album in which the piano takes centre stage, surrounded by strings and a skilful blend of electronics, guitar and drums, whilst his expansive prose sings of our passions, our loves and our fears.
