A bolt from the blue on Mount Olympus! Suddenly, the goddesses and gods of Greek mythology find themselves ordered to pack their bags: off to Earth they go!
The Uncompromising Judge has decided it is time to bring the world’s most famous residence up to standard. And in her presence, not even the all-powerful Zeus dares to say a word… So the Olympians descend upon a small, seemingly peaceful town. The mayor has made all the preparations to celebrate their arrival. Well… except for the sacrifices demanded by Hera. Nor has he found accommodation for Ares, the god of war, nor resolved the tensions caused by hosting these divine celebrities…
As the days go by, the gods and mortals size each other up, get to know one another, clash… and grow together. Zeus and Hera are in couples’ therapy, Poseidon gets himself banished, Hades and Persephone act as messengers between the dead and the living, Apollo gets put in his place…
A life where mortals and immortals mingle, where myths rub shoulders with reality – it is a life that is grander, more intense. It is a life that burns, at times. And one that allows us to better appreciate what a blessing it is to be able to laugh and dance amongst others.
