  • Two stone lions guard the gate preceded by a bridge. Four round towers (14th century) protect the main building (15th, 18th century), which features mullioned windows on the courtyard façade, in contrast to the numerous openings on the exterior façade. The satirical gentleman Roger de Rabutin (Histoire amoureuse des Gaules), cousin of Madame de Sévigné, was born here in 1618.
