For over forty years I have been working on ‘L’écume des jours’. A series of sculptures that are definitively unfinished, revisited and transformed over time. Sometimes several years may pass between one intervention and the next… Giving them a second life: they are made from recycled materials – wood, wire and string, old paper and shredded documents, fabrics mixed with glues, paints and acrylic binders. Ochres, sands and white earths… Creating forms that life might have generated and...

Ochres, sands and white earths… Creating forms that life might have generated and allowed to evolve over time. Skeletal structures of living, mysterious organisms that might have existed. An alchemical archaeology of forms at the heart of matter and time.
