  • Following the success of its first departmental edition, the Café Boys and Girls Race is coming to Place Schneider in Le Creusot on Wednesday 30 September 2026, for a day centred on camaraderie, discovery and sharing.

    On the programme: the famous Café Boys and Girls Race, demonstrations of craftsmanship, entertainment, opportunities to meet industry professionals, workshops to discover different trades, and areas dedicated to careers guidance and employment.

    Open to all, this event will celebrate careers in the hospitality and catering sectors and agriculture, whilst showcasing the talent, businesses and training programmes that enrich our region.

    Whether you’re with family, friends or simply curious, come along to support the participants and enjoy a festive occasion in the heart of Le Creusot!

    Programme for Wednesday 30 September 2026

    Morning: half-day dedicated to school pupils (secondary schools, MiLo, etc.)
    Stands showcasing training organisations and institutions offering training in local trades.
    Professional demonstrations (cooking, bartending, service, table setting, etc.)
    Exploring careers through VR headsets, quizzes and workshops
    Role-play: mini café challenge
    Lunch: provided by local restaurants

    Afternoon: open to all

    Professional demonstrations (cooking, bartending, service, table setting, etc.)
