"L'ombre des roseaux" is the result of a photographic bias, a desire to capture the landscape in "bad weather". The exhibition takes us on an unusual and original discovery of six Alpine lakes: Lac du Bourget, Lac d'Annecy, Lac du Léman, Lac de Neuchâtel, Lac d'Orta and Lac Majeur.
The choice of silver-based photography embodies my desire to work on this theme, giving pride of place to light and materials.
Capturing environments in the rain, gloom or fog allows me to rediscover a little..."L'ombre des roseaux" is the result of a photographic bias, a desire to capture the landscape in "bad weather". Capturing environments in the rain, gloom or fog allows me to rediscover a little of their immanence, their mystery, their secrets. The contours of rock, water and sky become blurred, giving us a glimpse of an original nature, a vision buried in the depths. Contemporary human footprints are mere appearances and ephemeral traces.
