One day, bored, he decided to give his television to a friend, and went out to buy a canvas box, a tube of white, a tube of black, two or three brushes, a bottle of turpentine and linseed oil.
That's how he started painting in 1996, and he never stopped. He began with portraits of jazz musicians, which he loved, and then turned to abstract art.

A few years ago, he returned to portraits, notably with this latest series of women.

At the same time, having trained as a modeller, he began to sculpt wood found in nature to make furniture. A sculptor friend, Emmanuel Chaudron, led him from decoration to art.

He then became an educator in a closed educational centre. He looked for ways to interest these teenagers and get them to express themselves. He tried metal for these motorbike and car lovers. He was caught in his own trap, taking pleasure in welding, melting and assembling metal.

His first large sculptures were born in 2014, made from bolts, rods and small scraps of metal. He welds, looking for the full and the empty, the technical and the unfinished, the raw and the detailed. An elephant, an arm and a man inspired by a Bilal comic strip have been exhibited in leading galleries and contemporary art fairs in Cannes, Lyon, Strasbourg, Cuiseaux, Lons le Saunier, Le Creusot, Château-Chalon, etc.

Hg Giger and Jordi Diez Fernandez are two artists who inspire him.

An eclectic, he seeks to work with materials in both his painting and sculpture, rubbing, scraping, melting, dissolving, digging and welding paint, earth, metal and wood.
