As part of the festivities to mark the 120th anniversary of the Harmonie-Batterie-Fanfare de Blanzy, after welcoming the Fanfare de Cavalerie de la Garde Républicaine, the Harmonie de Sanvignes and the Valley Brass Band of St Helens, the Harmonie Municipale is delighted to welcome the Orchestre d'Harmonie de l'École de Musique to the EVA on Saturday 25 April at 8.30pm.
It's a return to our roots, since many of the musicians in the Harmonie studied at the EMM and took part in the activities...As part of the festivities to mark the 120th anniversary of the Harmonie-Batterie-Fanfare de Blanzy, after welcoming the Fanfare de Cavalerie de la Garde Républicaine, the Harmonie de Sanvignes and the Valley Brass Band of St Helens, the Harmonie Municipale is delighted to welcome the Orchestre d'Harmonie de l'École de Musique to the EVA on Saturday 25 April at 8.30pm.
It's a return to our roots, since many of the musicians in the Harmonie studied at the EMM and took part in the activities of the Orchestre Junior, which has recently become the EMM Orchestre d'Harmonie, bringing together pupils of all ages - children, adults - on wind instruments and percussion; a preliminary training course before joining the ranks of the Harmonie and tackling an even richer repertoire.
A Blanzyno-Blanzyn evening on 25 April. 2 orchestras to discover or rediscover. Not to be missed!
