La Vérité

Michel is an inveterate liar to whom everyone lies. His mistress is the wife of his best friend Paul, and she threatens to reveal their affair. Paul, for his part, confides in his friend because he's afraid of being cheated on. Laurence, Michel's wife, wants him to believe that she is being unfaithful, as she herself is suspicious of her husband. With a great deal of effort and bad faith, Michel manages to convince everyone of the disadvantages of telling the truth and the advantages of keeping it to himself. But does he really know the truth?
