The event is an opportunity for private individuals to exchange plants and seeds.
The principle
You come along with your plants and other seedlings to be exchanged at the start of the Troc. The volunteers at the reception desk will value what you have brought with the barter "currency" according to the value of your plants. The more beautiful or rare the plant, the more it is valued. This ranges from 1 unit for small plants to 5 units for the most beautiful pieces.
We accept seeds, houseplants, perennials, bulbs, shrubs, small fruit, vegetables, herbs and annuals. However, we do not accept tree seedlings. We also do not accept plants with bare roots. Another rule is to label the plants to make it easier for the volunteers to work and distribute them between the various stands.
Once you've arrived and exchanged your plants, you can wander around the various stands to find the plants you can take home with you. After an hour, the barter starts and you can then do the reverse, i.e. exchange your "change" for plants and other vegetation.
The Plant Swap is also a way of discovering other associations and organisations that share the values of the Panier du Coin. You'll be able to talk to the people manning the stands about the different themes on offer. A number of stands are waiting for you: composting and shredding in the garden, conservatory orchard and activities, allotment garden activities, local and seasonal produce by the Écureuils du Panier, workshop fabric'ta bombe de graines.
