Among the bonds that unite these four musicians is a defining place: the Couches Jazz Festival, where each of them experienced their first musical thrills and nurtured their interest in jazz.

The quartet’s name is naturally inspired by the Couches legend of Yoata, a character who manages to guide the Vivre not through force, but through music and collective intelligence.
