Domaine Moulin de Maupoy is a charming guest house located in Saint-Symphorien-de-Marmagne, in the heart of Burgundy, at the gateway to the Morvan Regional Nature Park. We welcome travellers in search of tranquillity, nature and gourmet pleasures in an old mill.

What a pleasure it is to have you discover our old grain mill - just as we found it in 2022. Since then, Burgundy and its discreet beauty continue to surprise us every day. The open landscapes, the calm of the French countryside, the mild climate and the wealth of local produce are a natural invitation to slow down.

We like to share this feeling of freedom.

When we renovated the house, our aim was clear: to preserve the soul and warmth of the place while adding modern comforts. Old features, natural materials and contemporary touches all come together with simplicity.
Le Moulin de Maupoy is not a standard accommodation, but a guest house with character, ideal for rest and contemplation.

Our guest house is set between the renowned vineyards of Burgundy and the unspoilt nature of the Morvan Park. Each day offers a new discovery:
Autun, the Morvan lakes, Beaune, Cluny Abbey, Vézelay, markets and villages full of character.

Sometimes, the best thing is to plan nothing.
Reading a book in the garden, looking up at the sky, feeling time go by more slowly.
